Web Designer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Web Designer who will be responsible for improving on our already existing system. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for TheChipRide, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with TheChipRide. You will be working closely with our web development team to ensure a proper and hassle-free implementation. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills and be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Responsibilities

  1. Conceptualizing creative ideas for TheChipRide.

  2. Testing and improving the design of TheChipRide.

  3. Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.

  4. Maintaining the appearance of our website by enforcing content standards.

  5. Designing visual imagery for TheChipRide and ensuring that they are in line with our brand.

  6. Working with different content management systems.

  7. Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes.

  8. Incorporating functionalities and features into our websites.

  9. Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.

  10. Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.

Requirements

  1. A relevant diploma in related field.

  2. Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.

  3. Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.

  4. Good understanding of content management systems.

  5. Good understanding of search engine optimization principles

  6. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.

  7. Excellent visual design skills.

  8. Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.

  9. Creative and open to new ideas.

  10. Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques

  11. Excellent communication skills.
