A MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT.
The NOVEL CORONA-VIRUS has become a global pandemic, and as we strive to serve our community we want to take this opportunity to reassure our customers that we’ve been closely monitoring the situation and taking the necessary precautions as outlined by WHO and the Canadian Government Health Officials. We know there have been growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 VIRUS as the events over the past couple of weeks have been unprecedented. The unrest felt among Canadians due to changes in daily routines brought about by the NOVEL CORONA-VIRUS is greatly felt. At TheChipRide we put the safety of our customers as our number one priority and at times like these our team are committed to ensuring smooth customer service. Below are some of the new measures been implemented as added precautions across our platform, these changes would take effect starting March 23rd, 2020.
Suspending Cash Payment
Effective March 23rd, 2020 all cash payments would be suspended for the time been until further notice. This would help in reducing any physical contact.
Suspending Over The-Phone Booking
Effective March 23rd, 2020 all bookings and orders are to be henceforth made online only. These changes were deemed necessary as over The-Phone booking wouldn’t provide a clear picture of the current health condition of the booking party. Also, the time frame and notice given by the booking party prevents from conducting any proper health checks before pickup. No doubt these changes might be troubling for some and might have a few questions, but reassured our helpline are always open and we would use this opportunity to focus on other issues our customers might have instead.
Added Health Questions Included-Online Booking
Effective March 23rd, 2020 added health questions to check for flu-like symptoms for possible COVID-19 [Please Note, these checks/questions are in no way shape or form a replacement for an actual test conducted by public health officials, neither do we claim to be a public health official.] would be added to our online booking platform questionnaire. These procedures are set in place for both the safety of our independent contractors and our valued customers.
